How it all began

Anna and Joey met one night their sophomore year at Dickinson College at a mutual friend’s apartment. Anna sat down on the opposite end of the couch that Joey was sitting on. He quickly moved to sit right next to her. They immediately hit it off and didn’t talk to anyone else the rest of the night. The two started dating shortly after. The next year the two ended up both studying abroad together in England, where they became closer than ever and Joey began to picture spending the rest of his life with Anna.
And the rest is history
Anna and Joey graduated college in 2020. Shortly after, Joey moved down to Richmond to be with Anna, where the two currently live together with their two cats. In January of 2025, Joey took Anna out to her favorite restaurant and then to a garden light show all while he was nervous with anticipation. When they got home, Joey asked Anna to sit down in their living room and said he had something to give her. He knelt down on one knee, pulled a ring box out of his pocket, and asked her to marry him. Obviously, she said yes.
